It is important for all Americans, young and old, to join in on this learning experience.

Asian American Regional Histories: The South
Asian American Regional Histories is a series of community-created resources and research, and resource kits for educators developed by the Smithsonian’s Asian Pacific American Center (APAC). This collection, "Asian American Regional Histories: The South" is centered on Asian American migration, settlement, and identity in the South.

K-12 AANHPI Curriculum Project
The K-12 AANHPI Curriculum Task Force advocates for the inclusion of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander curriculum in our nation’s classrooms. This Task Force will create a national database of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander (AANHPI) curriculum that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive in its treatment of AANHPI history.

Immigrant History Initiative
Immigrant History Initiative works with families, schools, and organizations to share this knowledge and design thoughtful, anti-racist programs and workshops for people from all walks of life. We also develop curricula, train educators, and create free educational resources. Currently, our work focuses on engaging with and empowering Asian American communities.

Asian American Research Initiative
Based in San Francisco State University’s Asian American Studies department, the Asian American Research Initiative (AARI) conducts community-based research and activities to empower our communities. AARI amplifies the voices of Asian Americans and produces knowledge to build a racially just and equitable society where Asian Americans belong, contribute, and flourish.
